I'm not speaking historically. I'm talking about 2026: today there is no such place.

Historically, there are lots of places that no longer exist: Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union, & East Germany are some modern examples.

So who are the Palestinians, in your mind, or do they not exist either?

Palestinians are Arabs who live in Israel but refuse to deal with the reality of the state of Israel because of their extreme bigotry. In that sense, they are much like fascists in the west who also cannot deal with reality and happen to be extremely bigoted most of the time.

EFF Izzy. I'm tired of their crap and don't give the biblical stuff. Izzy settlements are a big problem. There is a place in another province where there is a growing Money Changer population making settlements and refusing to do business with local Thai. You think Thailand is a Jewish or their country. I'd run their asses out of here and that is far better than what they do. They kill people. Women and children big time. We assimilate here. It is critical.

Even today, in 2026, there is a place called Gaza. What you're promoting is a fiction common to ziocons and neocons.

.... completely controlled by Hamas who have ruined millions of lives. Stolen billions meant to help those who really need it.

Trump's war with Iran has turned into an ongoing Cluster F * * k! How long is Trump and Petey going to keep shooting million dollar missiles at $20,000 drones? Each day that goes by, it is evident Trump has no plan. He is winging it and flying by the seat of his pants.

Xi Jinping is just smiling quietly on the sidelines.

Judea & Samaria are not officially part of Israel but de facto they are. It makes sense as they have been part of that nation for much of the past 4,000 years, despite all the crazy changes to the map.

Gaza was granted independence and promptly elected terrorists who abused the population and have been engaging in terrorism ever since. I know it's shocking that terrorists do terrorist things!

I'm just trying to figure out where you think these people live. Most of the world recognizes the existence of a Palestinian state. Are these Arabs citizens of Israel, or are they living under occupation?

That's always been true of gentile Zionists. There's a reason we let Israel take most of the punishment for our imperial misadventures.

If I'm not mistaken, legally they are Arab citizens of Israel. If so, they have more rights and are treated better than Arabs in any other country of the region.

Other countries recognize a fictitious state of Palestine populated by terrorists is disturbing since it's motivated by antisemitism, at least in part. Particularly crazy and evil are those who accuse Israel of "genocide" for defending themselves from terrorists who actually wish to commit genocide and repeatedly try. Israel goes out of their way to avoid collateral damage while their enemies are truly genocidal and even seek to endanger their own civilians by using them as human shields. They are truly evil.

Christian's do have a connection to Jews and Israel since Jesus Christ was a Jew. Also, he commanded us to live our neighbors. Americans have connections to Israel since they are our allies. They have the most stable government in the region with a government and culture most similar to ours. It's logical for us to be allies.

Donald Trump has now decided to charge 20 percent on all cargo ships going through the Strait of Hormuz. What about cargo ships bound for China? Will he give them a free pass?

Trump has just shown the world he is no better than Iran. He is an extortionist and opportunist. He is certainly no statesman.

I'd be surprised if we ever collect a cent of revenue here. Trump knows the world will react with a crazy hair on fire reaction. It may actually force "our allies" to get involved in the patrolling the straight. They are the ones who most benefit. Even if they don't, there will be such outrage, the Iranians will never get away with a toll.

We should be used to it by now: Trump makes bold even outrageous proposals on tariffs and other policies, everyone reacts with alarm and shock, hd used it to negotiate a better arrangement for the US, and life returns to normal except now NATO allies ard paying more for their defense, much of the riots is buying oil from the US instead of the Middle East, and so on.

That may be the point.

The Iran conflict is an outlier compared to other conflicts in recent history. The Trump Administration learned the hard way that allies might manipulate American policy for their benefit (Israel under Netanyahu), that regime change requires an extant organization which can step in to replace the old regime (something the Iranian mullahs worked hard to prevent for decades), and that Middle East regimes understand that American policy often changes from one Administration to the next, and there will be a new President in 2029.

In some ways, Iran is trying to follow the path of Japan at the turn of the 20th Century. Japan was a relatively new power to the world of its day, even as Japan claimed a long cultural history. This was a contributing factor to Japan's 1898-1905 war with Russia, and Japan benefited significantly from its win, in that after WW1 Japan was awarded Russian territory in the Pacific Iran in some ways was trying to follow that strategy, by going to war with the US, knowing that simply to survive would raise Iran's reputation in the region (see North Korea).

So, in the manner of better late than never, it makes sense to think that the US is poisoning the well for charging tolls in the Gulf.

There is very little art in saying the most ridiculous and bizarre things you can think of. "Oh we will do it too then!" is not a Presidential response to a terrorist state wanting to toll international waters.

It's cute that some of y'all think this administration has a concrete plan or strategy, despite all available evidence being to the contrary. He's threatening tolls now as some kind of 3d chess move, to "poison the well"? Get real and stop lying to yourselves.

Here's a thought excercise: can anyone name one exemplary "deal" this President has struck that was actually good and lasting? I'll even make it easier and open it up to examples from his business career before he was President. And it can't be one that he screwed all of his business partners but walked away personally richer from, God knows his history is full of those examples.
