Funny, I hear that a lot. Yet Trump has always been able to make new deals and contracts, something failed businessmen are not able to do in my experience.

So, are you saying all these people who have done business with Trump after, say, 2000 are idiots who don't know his history, or is it that you are missing other factors and facts in the bankruptcies and lawsuits you think make your case?

Absolute idiots.

There is a reason US banks would not lend to Trump. Trump killed the USFL. (Fantastic league where many of our friends played.) Atlantic City still hasn't recovered. Deutsche Bank will likely be absorbed into another bank.

Small businessmen (many) tell stories of how Trump bankrupted 3rd-generation businesses by refusing to pay contracted services. Small generational farms are taking it in the shorts. The trail of destruction is documented.

You should know, if Trump came to my funeral, I'm getting up and walking out; that's how despicable I think he is.

Well, you certainly made your emotional position clear.

GOING VIRAL: Blue-Haired Trans Student LOSES IT, Attacks Cops When Officer Misgenders Him Gets Tased and Arrested (VIDEO)
Jul. 19, 2026

Police body camera footage from the University of Central Florida last year is blowing up on the internet due to the absurdity police had to deal with from a so-called transgender student.
The now viral incident occurred in February 2025 but has resurfaced.

An officer, seen in the video below, walks into a campus building, where he encounters a blue-haired student, who has been identified as 27-year-old Jarrett Vick. "Why do you let those kids get away with this? They are not supposed to be here," Vick screams at the officer, sparking the incident.

The cop, who said he was on campus for a stolen vehicle investigation, then threatened to put him in cuffs and take him to a Baker Act facility for psychiatric hold, and Vick said, "******* try it."

27 year old student???? Is he going for his second doctorate????

Using up the last of the extra Covid eligibility!

Really though, a quick google basically returns a handful of videos and "articles" that largely cross link each other in a circular shooting gallery of using a couple of recent articles to prove "viral" status. The oldest thing I can find is a 3-4 day old Reddit post with ~300 comments. I cannot find anything from 2025 at all.

So it seems reasonable that two things are true at once: (1) this person is nuts and likely needs mental health care and (2) this "story", such as it is, is yet another in a long line of consensually manufactured outrage bait that is neither representative of any meaningful large trend, nor material to the daily lives of 99.9999999999% of the population.

It's easier for Trump to be faithful than to bankrupt a casino. Of course successful casinos are run by experienced professionals.

Trump is. not and has never been a good business man. He is the Bronx Con-Man. He started with an inheritance of $440M, went broke several times. Can no longer build buildings and has resorted to slapping hi name on it. I know for a fact through colleagues, he is barred from building as he lies, doesn't pay his bills to subs, bully, arrogant. ect. Banks are shutting him down too. How do you bankrupt a Casino? Negotiator in Chief. He's shown how terrible he is at negotiating.

As opposed to a socialist economy in which ultimately everything fails. The tyrannical leaders have all kinds of luxuries while everyone else struggled to survive. Unless the tyrants kill them. That happens quite frequently under socialism & communism, even in mixed economies.

Tuesday Update...

  • Shipping disruption: Houthi threats forced two Saudi oil tankers to turn around in the Red Sea as Hormuz traffic slowed sharply after more tanker attacks.
  • Escalation in Gulf: Iran claimed strikes on infrastructure in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, while Kuwait reported a second day of attacks on power and desalination plants.
  • Trump vows more to come: The US launched fresh strikes on Iranian targets, Trump vowed retaliation, and Reuters reported a proposed 10-day ceasefire. "We've been nice," Trump says, warning of more attacks to come.
  • Oil surges: Crude prices hit multi-week highs amid shipping disruptions, with warnings oil could reach $120 if fighting continues.
  • Pentagon scrutiny: The New York Times reported the Pentagon withheld information about dozens of US troops injured in Iranian attacks before the deadly Jordan missile strike.

It's go time. We cannot subsidize the price of oil much longer. Have to get the Strait open.

There were some real doomsday scenarios offered up by oil experts, before the MOU, that turned out to not materialize, but I have to think that some real pain could hit if we go another month like this.

Sort of incredible that we cannot secure shipping lanes with that much of our Navy in the area. We have a long way to go on combating low cost drones/rockets. This war might get our butt in gear though.

I don't know much of anything militarily, but from what I have read from Generals, people with no tribe (military) all say to liberate the previously open Hormus, from the current blolckade will require lot of boots on the ground. Not sure piggy has the stomach for that. The will not open it up freely. $2M per vessel translates into a $16 increase in crude.
