I know absolutely nothing about the military, but I'l really perplexed why Trump telegraphs everything we do in Iraq. Heard a General on TV today and he couldn't understand it either it either and it gives away power. Thoughts?

I think it is the negotiating tactic he's used to from the business world. I believe he thinks the threats of "bombing them back to the Stone Age" will get them to the negotiating table. But we have seen repeatedly that those threats are not working.

Caine is part of problem. There is no strategy, he reads off lists of items destroyed as if thet is all they are responsible for doing Maybe it is Hegseth and hos hyper-male view so he thinks just blowing up items is winning. Maybe it is just giving Donald what he wants? But, there are few objectives and no end game strategy.
Iran does not care about that, they have been planning for 25 years for this. We can bomb forever, that does not bother them. Iran is in a war of attrition, they are systematically knocking out our capabilities and punishing our allies.
