This might could be its own thread but ...

Things Dan Caine would rather do than prosecute TRUMP's War on Iran:

- Light his hair on fire. Have Brock Lesnar put the fire out using a sledgehammer.

- Annotate the complete works of danielsjacksoff.

- Remove his fingernails using a pair of pliers.

- Have Little Peter Hegsputz personally administer his Low-T test.

Others?

That reads like Insubordination, Airman.

Just keeps getting better and better. How can we spend insane amounts on defense every year and already be having supply issues in a war with a country about a quarter of our population after just 5 months?

Iran is perfecting rope-a-dope.

BREAKING: The Pentagon is confronting a growing reality after months of fighting in Iran.

America's stockpile of missile defense interceptors is shrinking so much that military planners are weighing whether they can continue the current cycle of limited retaliatory strikes.

Iran's strategy appears to be targeting U.S. bases, forcing the U.S. to deplete its advanced missile defense interceptors, such as Patriot and THAAD systems, and compelling the Pentagon to accept greater risk in defending U.S. troops as the conflict drags on. Iran appears to believe this is its best hope of outlasting the U.S. military.

It's Biden's fault. And Obama's. Duh.

Ever wonder why it's always Iran that first breaks the cease fire?

I'm glad we are exposing the inability to ramp up production enough now, and not after a major move by China against Taiwan or elsewhere.
We'd be outproduced in a conflict with China right now.

Also better start looking for easier to mass produce alternatives as drone (and robotic) warfare expands.

Or better yet just spend the money on something productive. If we could compete with China we might not be so bent on conflict.

Sometimes just "Will this hurt the market on Monday?"

But I'm not sure I agree. China is flooding the region with warships. They are going to try to have so many that even technologically inferior shops can deny us areas they want.

Matching the US in warfare is very important to them. They dont have to be able to beat us, but if they could take over all of Asia, they could stop there and win the economic war.

Their advantage is centralized planning that has no opposition.

Our advantage is innovation. We come up with the great new chips. They're much better set up to manufacture them.

We're on the plus side of technology with them. But Trump's unwise policies, like discouraging EVs, solar power, etc., put us at a distinct trade disadvantage. They're cornering the market on affordable EVs, which is the future, while Trump wants more gas guzzlers sold, which is the past.

China has made some major planning mistakes. Like Mao wiping out sparrows because he thought they carried disease. Like the 'one child' rule which led to China now having almost 25 million more men than women and a population collapse crisis impending. Like the central committee favoring city resource allocation, which led to multiple uprisings in the rural precincts. Like the crash industrialization policies which led to strip mining and subsequent poisoning of water in a number of cities.

Look beyond the CCP media and you will see some very serious problems in China.

The good news for China is that Xi Jinping is smart enough to know that taking out $20,000 drones with million dollar missiles is not very wise. Sure hope our mighty leader that is never wrong about anything figures it out.
