Per Trump in 2024, we basically have the Harris presidency right now. Major campaign points were that if Harris were elected, we would have rising inflation, higher gas prices and war with Iran and continued war in Ukraine. Last I checked, we have all of those things.

Harris was an awful candidate. Surely there is at least one other Democrat who could be holding serve on this version of events.

Trump closed the border, which is great and needed to happen. Beyond that, his second term descends further into absurdity.

I like that we are cancelling the maneuvers... but I hate the reason why we are doing it (South Korea not sufficiently supporting Israel).

Highly unlikely that we'll be building a lot of new bases. The last US troops will leave Iraq by the end of next month, and they're not coming back. The naval base at Bahrain is history. We have yet to measure the strategic defeat that Trump has wrought for the US.
