Yeah gays definitely vote Democrat, don't know why when you are obviously doing so much to court their vote.
I don't really like watching gays kiss either, so what I do, see, is i don't watch them kiss. If I see it, I stop watching. It doesn't bother me that there are gays out there, still, I'm not into it. Easy to avoid.
And there are more out there than you actually see.
I've often said that if every dude who had ever been with a dude, thought about it, or fantasized about it were to turn blue for 24 hours, there would be a lot of shocked wives, girlfriends and bros down there in their man caves on game day. A lot of guys out there flying under the radar with secrets to tell.
Now I guess you'd label them as bisexual. But still and all, appearances can be deceiving. And a lot of people, straight guys especially, will look at it through a very narrow prism. They just assume that the only gay dudes are those who act feminine and are easy to spot. They're the same ones who say there are no gay military men, there are no gay football players, there are no gay LEOs, etc. Masculinity equates automatically to straight.
Clearly there are more straight guys than gay. And when you see an alpha, masculine type, he is most likely straight. Since that's how the percentages go.
But there's a whole other part of that world you'll never see as openly, because they don't act like fems either, and they're not particularly open about it. There are many on the dl. Which would lead me to think that the 5%, or 10%, or the less than 5% that some say isn't totally true. Well, maybe 5% (or even 10%) is true for guys who are truly gay. But you add the dudes who have explored, fantasized or thought about such activity (as in bisexual), I wouldn't be surprised to see that percentage more like 20-25%. If not a little higher. Which wouldn't make them gay, per se, but still more open to same sex activity than others around them might think they would be. Based on their non-fem traits.
