From what I read, the defense pulled the plug once it was clear that their witnesses were just confirming what the prosecutions witnesses had said.

I wonder how long he will get. I don't think they will be very lenient.

Seemed like maybe the most obvious case of all of these public cases ... but never know when one crazy Karen worms her way onto the jury.

The bigger issue continues to be not only burn loot murder but its left-wing media conspirators than enable the spreading of disinformation to increase racial animus. Amazing the oxygen the left-wing media gave the the lies of the blek hustlers.

Yes, I do. A present adult makes all kinds of difference.

13 year 6-12 teacher. Yes, there were students who refused my directions, but I was always able to bring in another adult, and on a few occasions law enforcement, and nobody got hurt. Adults have the ability to resolve a situation two boys on testosterone don't have. That doesn't mean Metcalf bears any responsibility for what happened because he doesn't.

I coached soccer, baseball, basketball, and track and field. I get it has changed since I left, but an adult under that tent and this doesn't happen.

Because it happens all the time.

I think it's a solid decision. It's a hell of a thing deciding a punishment for someone so young. Our defendant was 26 on my jury. Lots of thinking about those numbers and just how long a period of time is.

He'll be my age when he gets out. That's a long time as I look back between now and then.

Where he is sent will matter. There are prisons where he might be able to understand his choices and set a better course, but others where his hate will be burned in and become impossible to heal.
