11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
1 Tim 3:1-2
1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife,
Titus 1:5-6
5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife
These verses are plain enough that all can understand them. People have to make a decision about whether they will accept Paul's writing as scripture just as Peter does in 2 Peter 3:16 or whether they will let feminism and the modern culture alter their religious beliefs. As a former Methodist church member, I can tell you what happens when you accept female pastors. You will see your clergy become more and more liberal in interpreting Scripture bringing division in the church. Give it a couple of generations and your church will split. The liberal side will declare victory but will be preaching a different gospel and a different Jesus by the end.
