Hey Trumpians....how's that MOU working out? It was an absolute POS from the get go. It is embarrassment that the Fat Boy regime offered that up with a straight face. Laughing stock, we are.

It won't get better. When we finally get the serious people in the negotiations, it's gonna be high dollars with a "toll" in the Strait.

Honestly, given the realities on the ground, that was about as good as it was going to get aside from just walking away from the mess that we created. Most of the "finish the job" crowd couldn't locate Iran on a map and are completely divorced from the reality of strategic military action in that country. You mention the word "Gallipoli" around them, and they think it's a pasta dish.

Just read an article in the Atlantic and hard to believe, our Pentagon headed by lil Petey that the war bill will be north of $100Trillion. Whoa. What did we get for $100T? Rising costs. That is a staggering number. The reporters found out the Pentagon's accounting . If we lost a $50M plane, and it wasn't replaced, Pentagon says no cost as we didn't replace, so take off books. Wow. I suck at accounting and I know that ain't right.

I prefer that to open borders, pretending men can be women, forcing girls to shower and compete against boys, sowing racial division through support of BLM, forcing experimental vaccines on the populace through OSHA, shutting down churches and businesses, trillion dollar spending packages, a Fall of Saigon moment in Afghanistan, and just a general incompetence.

None of us should have expected any of these deals to last. Not the tariff deals, not this.

We definitely went in with no plan. We said so when we admitted it was not something the United States wanted to do, but Israel.

Now we are reaping the rewards. We again elected a total buffoon who already spent 8 years destroying our faith in democracy, declared economic war on the entire free world plus an island of penguins, declared war on Iran after saying no more wars in the ME.... and we expect his real estate guys to negotiate a lasting peace deal with a terrorist state?

Nobody with a brain did. We hope for the best, but are not stupid enough to expect a victory there. Even if we invade, wipe out the regime, kill every member of the IRGC, it would be a phyrric victory.

Total failure, and even given how dumb Dobald Trump is, perplexing, because he said for decades how big of a mistake this very thing, going to war with Iran would be.

You quit Subway and be a closeted Senator. Add some value, punk. Momma bring you puddin down to the basement. Gawd, you are so queer.

The finish the job crowd never proposes anything specific. Involved in GOP politics as I am, I've had this discussion with several of them. The response generally goes something like "Well, coming up with a strategy to do that isn't my job, it's the Department of War's job."

They are like fans in the stands who, seeing that the team they support is struggling against an inferior opponent that is angling for an upset starts yelling at the coach: "Just win the game!"

It was chance to see how they would respond - instead of biding their time - selling oil and building back their infrastructure, they chose to act like criminal goons - per usual.

What is missing from the MOU? The SE. As in Mickey.

Sounds like our million dollar missiles taking out $20,000 Iranian plastic drones has caught up to us. No worries! The defense contractors will ramp up production. And I'm sure the Trumps will make bank.
Call it a tax, the people are outraged! Call it a tariff, the people get out their checkbooks and wave their American flags!!!

Trump would have been bettered served to have just followed Obama's lead and allowed Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

Kicking the can down the road is the American way, just look at the deficit.

Doing something always pisses people off. Ignoring problems is the key.

Obama Derangement Syndrome aside, the JCPOA was a good start and gave the world a chance. TRUMP decided to cave to HIS uninformed impulses and go it alone. And here we are: Eight months after "obliterating" Iran's nuclear program, we're playing Robin to Israel's Batman to stop Iran ... two weeks short of producing a nuclear weapon.

That's your story.

As told by your Medal of Honor-deserving leader.

The JCPOA was a working solution. We will not get anywhere near that good going forward. Instead, the initial $1.7 B will look like public school lunch money. The petrodollar will be gone and the Straight? Iran controls it now.

no and I mean NO US intelligence said they were 2 weeks away. That is Piggy and Bibi lying their asses off. They were not remotely close. We were much, much better with the JCPOA which gave us data and access and commitments. Now, thanks to Piggy, we got Nada and are in a far , far worse place.

Uh yeah - an agreement that virtually assured the crazed radical Mullahs would have nukes by at least the early 2030's (and that's if they actually abided by it which good luck with that) was so much smarter and better. We'd be soooo much better off if your party had won in '24. LOL!
