Honestly, given the realities on the ground, that was about as good as it was going to get aside from just walking away from the mess that we created. Most of the "finish the job" crowd couldn't locate Iran on a map and are completely divorced from the reality of strategic military action in that country. You mention the word "Gallipoli" around them, and they think it's a pasta dish.

It won't get better. When we finally get the serious people in the negotiations, it's gonna be high dollars with a "toll" in the Strait.

Just read an article in the Atlantic and hard to believe, our Pentagon headed by lil Petey that the war bill will be north of $100Trillion. Whoa. What did we get for $100T? Rising costs. That is a staggering number. The reporters found out the Pentagon's accounting . If we lost a $50M plane, and it wasn't replaced, Pentagon says no cost as we didn't replace, so take off books. Wow. I suck at accounting and I know that ain't right.

When you two wake from your fever dreams, please send your Iranian friends some dude wipes. They've had an frightfully disproportionate amount of ordnance shoved up their ass.

Trump would have been bettered served to have just followed Obama's lead and allowed Iran to develop nuclear weapons.
Kicking the can down the road is the American way, just look at the deficit.
Doing something always pisses people off. Ignoring problems is the key.

Obama Derangement Syndrome aside, the JCPOA was a good start and gave the world a chance. TRUMP decided to cave to HIS uninformed impulses and go it alone. And here we are: Eight months after "obliterating" Iran's nuclear program, we're playing Robin to Israel's Batman to stop Iran ... two weeks short of producing a nuclear weapon.
That's your story.
As told by your Medal of Honor-deserving leader.

no and I mean NO US intelligence said they were 2 weeks away. That is Piggy and Bibi lying their asses off. They were not remotely close. We were much, much better with the JCPOA which gave us data and access and commitments. Now, thanks to Piggy, we got Nada and are in a far , far worse place.

So…….on top of being an oil baron, a huge property manager, a massive owner of banks, a hugely successful international business man, etc., (who somehow always has plenty of time on his hands to constantly post stuff on this board)……you're additionally sooooo connected to the U.S. inelligence establishment that you can assure all of us that Iran never was on the verge of producing nukes. LOL - you bet.

firstly never embellished what I do . You have no clue what I do. I don't own a bank. Took it public. Well, fella as far as time on my hands, you have no clue how I spend my time, nor is it any of your business. Difference between you and me teacher is that teachers teach it because they can't do it. I was done at 35 fyi,(corp world) but don't sit around collecting govt cheddar like your partner in misery, old bitter 83 (yall are 2 peas in a pod). I create, stay busy, creating jobs, creating value. Not the retiring type. Never claimed to have any inside info on intel obviously. It is common knowledge they were NO where near a nuke.. Question for your Maganess. Were we better off with the JCOPA or where we are today?
