Kinda like picking between colon cancer and prostate cancer. Not gonna do it. Hard pass for me on both.

Yep. This was something called an analogy. Sorry,- did not meant to offend. The point is we have two options for the vacant Senate spot. And they are both absolutely HORRIBLE!!!
Congrats on your successful battle against cancer. The world would be less interesting without OldBear83. I am being sincere when I tell you this.

The complaints against Paxton seem to centered on his personal life while the complaints against Talarico are almost entirely about his policy pronouncements. So, which do want representing Texas in the Senate? One of them will be our next Senator and none of us can think we are being personally responsible by not voting for either of them.
The last time republicans stood on principle and chose not to vote, we got Joe Biden/Kamala Harris. Choose one or the other candidate based on the issues and live with it.

We're on the precipice of a Communist takeover, and even RD2 can't see past the propaganda.
Sad.

Conservatives sitting this out are just idiots. The system can survive a Paxton, he will at least support conservative policies and fight progressivism. Our youth and our state cannot afford a Talafreako. He supports child abuse (transitioning) and he is a fake, duplicitous man, who supports terrible and evil policies, but gets by because he wears a kind face. I'm embarrassed by the low-T conservatives that will willingly throw our kids futures into the hands of the left by sitting this out. You all are an embarrassment to masculinity. Paxton is not great, but Cornyn was fired for being a moderate scum sucker, Paxton will fight for the correct policies. This is an easy vote.

WWIII is different than working with Israel to destroy the Iranian regime, so you're definitely right. Open borders are different than controlled immigration, so you're right again. Killing the unborn is different than allowing them to live, so again, you're right. Promoting sexual deviancy to children is different than teaching them to have good morals, so right again! Promoting sex changes to children and the mentally ill is different than promoting mental health care. Seems like evil and good are different, so you're wrong there. Hope this help!Sam Lowry said:

Until we start making things better ... OK, great. Such wonderful meaningless platitudes. Completely weak and mind-numbing gibberish.
Christians sitting out elections doesn't do jack squat for making things better. The best Christians can do is to vote in the primaries for the best candidate, and to try to help that candidate to win by speaking out in favor of that candidate. Traditional Christians need to become more political, not less. They need to get involved to make change.
At the end of the day, Christians can only impact based on the above. The unwashed masses will pick and choose their candidates, and we will be left with the two choices. No since in pretending otherwise.
Letting a kid-transitioning, woke policy wh0re, abomination of a man win this election is the most childish, short-sighted thing any grown Christian man could do. It's truly shameful watching the pearl clutching going on from the low-T conservatives who will gladly look the other way. Paxton isn't the best, not even likable, but he will absolutely do his job to fight progressivism. And if Christians don't see progressivism as the true enemy, then they are idiots, dumb, short sighted, defeated, half-men. I will gladly always vote against the party that celebrates transitioning kids, attacking their sexuality, celebrating evil, etc. The low-T pearl-clutchers can sit it out and watch as the country's domestic policies move more towards Canadian dystopia and starts arresting Christians for praying in public.
You on the other hand wear clown shoes and play make believe in "making change".

The people I know who are close to Paxton have news for you if you think he will absolutely do his job to fight progressivism. Don't count on it. He's as big a wh0re as any politician you'll find.
I've been plenty specific about the change we need. Protect life and marriage. Stop war and genocide. Respect the law and the Constitution. None of us like the agenda of the far left. Some of us also dislike the increasing lawlessness, authoritarianism, and racism of the GOP. If you embrace it, that's your choice. Just please don't imagine it gives you any kind of moral high ground.

And so what - vote for someone like the kid-transitioning supporter Talarico who will definitely vote FOR terrible things, or vote for a Paxton. Not my favorite, but it's an easy choice.
You're that guy that can't work his way out of a paper sack. Brain freezes and surrenders because you have two options that aren't great. We don't have a perfect system, everyone who wants to vote, gets to vote, some of those people are tr-nny-celebrating people like JR. Christians just need to vote the best that they can, and in this case, Talarico vs Paxton, it's an easy vote against Talarico.
And Cornyn just got fired. Paxton will as well if he becomes a RINO. He's not a dumb guy. He will placate his voters so he can stay in his seat longer.
