Comey already admitted that they opened the investigation into Clinton because of new evidence and they didn't want a president elect under investigation. All because he was 100% certain Clinton would win.

So yeah, it was to clear her.

He did no such thing. He torpedoed the Clinton campaign and knew the investigation would not wrap up in a few days, ie. voting day. Trump should be thanking Comey.

The investigation wrapped up 9 days after they reopened it and 2 days before the election...

And yes he did leak against Trump. The Justice Department Inspector General "is conducting an investigation into classification issues related to the Comey memos that he leaked.

The investigation wrapped up when it did because, once they delved into the new cache of emails, they realized these were duplicates of emails they had already looked at. They did not know this when they re-opened the investigation, nor how long it would take to wrap things up.
