He won't talk anymore to Congress or anyone, except to say, "Read my report".
Not sure I buy that.

I am sure Trump and AntiTrumps have mixed feelings about this. Mueller gives me the impression of a guy just doing his job, and trying his best to stay clear of the politics. He will answer a subpoena from Congress, but will decline to answer questions beyond the purview of the report. Democrats have a decision to make...

Guilty til proven innocent.
Wait, I thought it was innocent til proven guilty.
The former is correct is it's Democrats and the MSM accusing a Republican. I always forget the exception.
Mueller should be ashamed for his comments.

That's a horrible conclusion. He defined his limitation. He said it's unfair to accuse a person who can not be charged and vindicated in court.

That's not what he said.Iron Claw said:
Although he stated in the report that he found no evidence of Trump or anyone else colluding with the Russians, he still *thinks* Trump may have committed a crime. What a crock.
The legalease is what's saving Trump's butt at least for the time being. Barr-Cohn clearly lied about Mueller's position. Because he was constrained by the OLC "policy" that one "should not" indict a sitting president, his charge was to clear or not clear Trump of wrong doing. The overwhelming evidence he gathered compelled him not to clear Trump. There's no other way to look at this.Doc Holliday said:
But POTUS did not impede the investigation. He completely complied with it.TMWISH said:
Also obstruction of justice is a crime even if you didn't commit the crime you are being investigated for. You cannot impede an ongoing investigation just because you believe/know you are innocent. You have to follow the law even if you don't like being investigated.
Somebody just activated a sock puppet created in December of 2017.TMWISH said:
Yes because as Mueller stated he literally cannot come to that conclusion. He was able to conclude other people committed crimes several of them former members of Trumps campaign or staff. But for trump all he could do is collect evidence of his crimes for future reference.
Do you realize that you have to prove someone committed a crime? You're making the assertion that Mueller need to prove POTUS didn't commit a crime to clear him of obstruction: That's not how this works.TMWISH said:
DOJ has no power to indict Trump so they can't conclude he did commit a crime. Mueller provided multiple pieces of evidence that Trump attempted to obstruct. We don't know that he did or did not commit a crime, but we certainly have evidence he did
Mueller said that the indictments "contain allegations and we are not commenting on the guilt or innocence of any specific defendant."TMWISH said:
I usually just browse, but I started commenting because damn the lies about this need to stop. I am flatly embarrassed BU alums are so easily taken in by propaganda like Barrs summary when an actual conservative who has nothing to gain is telling you what he found.
