Remember when the Obama administration took away tactical vehicles from the police. Thankfully Trump overturned that back in 2017 but of course the weak liberal leaders/Mayors of these big cities don't know what to do or how to use them properly.

Saw my first armored police vehicle last night on streets of Omaha. Officer in full gear and automatic rifle was standing up through the roof scanning and "herding" large group of people. It was 2 hours past curfew. Police were all over containing the crowd. Wife was spooked even though we were safely watching from 5th floor hotel room. Downtown shutting down today so hotel urged us to move further out in the burbs- took his advice.
