It is never acceptable to excuse, as you are doing, beating the crap out of a random guy for wearing a hat. It is dangerous to look at such violence and say, as you do, "who am I to judge?" whatever the semantics, Peaceful Protestors and Clergy of the Church were fired upon using Pepper Balls and cleared using smoke (this IS confirmed by Park Police) the members of the Clergy reported Tear Gas, Rubber Bullets and Concussion Grenades, whilst the Park Police have specifically denied Tear Gas, they werent the only agency involved, the other agencies have declined to comment. Its possible that the people reporting these things were mistaken, confused, or simply not telling the truth, but theres seems plenty of coobaration.

Regardless of who ordered it, its still a reprehensible thing to have happened. I personally dont think Trump ordered it specifically, he probably knew about it and took advantage, but it looks pretty bad

The police (who are under a radical Democrat) admitted they didn't know about it which even I find hard to believe they would allow Trump to walk over there w/out notice. Law enforcement in the video is clearly labeled as either "Military Police" or "Secret Service." So while the park police may not have known about it, that is irrelevant. They are not the ones who cleared the protestors.
