This is why the "fight for $15" is silly and useless. Its a guise to hide massive inflation without actually improving anyone's position. Putting aside the relative upward pressure on all other wages that will result, in the long run, of marginal if any, improvement for those making lower wages.

Remember when those idiots ran the commercial saying that our July 4 cookout was like $0.75 cheaper or something like that? I don't see them running commercials saying that the COLA for social security is going to have to be 5.9%. Waiting for them to just be brazen enough to make it look like they're just unilaterally raising social security payments.

Still wouldn't be surprised if next summer, biden (assuming he's still around) proclaims the virus has been beaten and all mandates cease. They'll say the mandates worked fantastically and fabulously. Just in time for the 2022 elections.

One of my favorite things is to watch leftists try to compare Biden and Trump and say they both sucked. Trumps record breaking economy that came from his tax reform and massive deregulation suffered only from lockdowns and he didn't impose a single lockdown. Biden's economy is thanks to Biden's policies and democrat lockdowns. Trump didn't write the spending bills that brought us to this point, that was democrats. Then, knowing this, they try to tell Republicans that the only way to win an election is to not support the most popular Republican President in decades because Orange Man bad, but we should seek out candidates similar to previous ones that didn't win. Either they're too dumb to see the flaws in their logic or they think conservatives are too stupid to see that they're simply pushing for meek and easily beaten Republican candidates.
