It's called Bidenflation for a reason. On day one he began trying to destroy the energy sector and has been amping up the destructive policies ever since. Just look at the price if fuel since 2021 when Joe took office: it was under $2.00 per gallon but has been well over $3 all year (closer to $4 a few months ago). It's even worse for diesel and this effects everyone. Even if your vehicle doesn't run on diesel, you buy things that were delivered to the store using diesel fuel. Trucks, trains & ships all use it and everything you buy was transported by at least one of them. Even Amazon deliveries!

How can one man have that much power to destroy our economy and the livelihood if millions of Americans? Because Congress let's him and we the people allow all of the swamp in Washington to continue with all their corruption & abuse of power.

Diesel in Cali the other day was $6.79. Here it's around $4.

My Freightliner MT55 gets about 6MPG. Single tank models hold around 55 gallons. My cost to operate is right at $1/per mile when diesel is at $4/gallon.

An MT45 or MT55 is every Cintas truck, every bread truck, every UPS/FEDEX truck (non class 8).

Class 8s are usually around 120-150 gallons per tank so do the math on that and you can easily see the cost of the trickle down.

Yup. A bag of popcorn my wife uses for lunches, $7.49. 18 pack of eggs $7.29. Soda $7.49. I can't believe the number of items that are now in the $7 range. It is really getting high.

Every service we have has sent one or two letters explaining raising monthly costs due to the cost to provide rising. That is not even including those that can't hire help, like our exterminator. They literally can't find people.

I am in Florida and shop at Publix, the equivalent of HEB in Texas.

Even if the speed limits is 65 or 70, anyone doing over 55 is a murderer, just like the people who didn't get jabbed or wore a mask or spread disinformation or doesn't affirm chosen gender

That is true. Our coalition has a problem compromising within itself = our moderates rarely can find the "larger cause" virtue in putting on rubber gloves/boots and working WITH our own conservative base to advance GOP platform items, instead preferring to work with Democrats to just move left more slowly than Democrats would like.

But Democrats have problems below the surface that are going to prove difficult to finesse. Biden is just a figurehead. Team Obama is running the show. And they are sending out clear signals that they do not want Biden to run. The WAPO poll is of course an outlier, but there is no way to put positive spin on it. And the alphabet media now running stories about the Joe/Hunter corruption. Those are not just stories you never see coming from alphabet media. It's a new narrative starting to build. And it's going to get worse. They are going to try to nudge Biden out, to pressure him not to run.

Problem is, Joe is a stubborn, arrogant, ass, and has an incentive to run to protect himself and son from mounting (and unlike Trump, very real) legal issues. And what to do about Kamala? Even if they are successful in nudging out Joe, they can't easily toss her to the curb without ruffling a lot of multicultural feathers. The amount of chair shuffling that will have to happen to get around her is unwieldy. And then there's Newsom in limbo.....campaigning while not campaigning for POTUS. I suspect he thought he'd already have the decks cleared by now. But it's almost getting too late.....we are not terribly many weeks away from state primary filing periods starting to open. And there will be a third party candidate or three in the mix, all of whom will drag more Dem voters than GOP voters. So we are looking at increasing odds of a lower turnout base-election scenario. And nobody has a larger and more fired up base than DJT.

None of that is to say Dems are toast, just to note that they have their own dilemmas to deal with, too.

Excellent summary of the political landscape today. Have you heard about Newt Gingrich's prediction that Barack Hussein Obama will maneuver Joe out so Michelle can become the candidate.
