That is true. Our coalition has a problem compromising within itself = our moderates rarely can find the "larger cause" virtue in putting on rubber gloves/boots and working WITH our own conservative base to advance GOP platform items, instead preferring to work with Democrats to just move left more slowly than Democrats would like.

But Democrats have problems below the surface that are going to prove difficult to finesse. Biden is just a figurehead. Team Obama is running the show. And they are sending out clear signals that they do not want Biden to run. The WAPO poll is of course an outlier, but there is no way to put positive spin on it. And the alphabet media now running stories about the Joe/Hunter corruption. Those are not just stories you never see coming from alphabet media. It's a new narrative starting to build. And it's going to get worse. They are going to try to nudge Biden out, to pressure him not to run.

Problem is, Joe is a stubborn, arrogant, ass, and has an incentive to run to protect himself and son from mounting (and unlike Trump, very real) legal issues. And what to do about Kamala? Even if they are successful in nudging out Joe, they can't easily toss her to the curb without ruffling a lot of multicultural feathers. The amount of chair shuffling that will have to happen to get around her is unwieldy. And then there's Newsom in limbo.....campaigning while not campaigning for POTUS. I suspect he thought he'd already have the decks cleared by now. But it's almost getting too late.....we are not terribly many weeks away from state primary filing periods starting to open. And there will be a third party candidate or three in the mix, all of whom will drag more Dem voters than GOP voters. So we are looking at increasing odds of a lower turnout base-election scenario. And nobody has a larger and more fired up base than DJT.

None of that is to say Dems are toast, just to note that they have their own dilemmas to deal with, too.

Excellent summary of the political landscape today. Have you heard about Newt Gingrich's prediction that Barack Hussein Obama will maneuver Joe out so Michelle can become the candidate.
Nah, don't think it will happen. She's on record more than once that she didn't like DC, doesn't want to be a part of politics again, and (her words) she'll never ever run for president.

It seems the only people that keep bringing up her name are GOP pundits. Presumably to rile their viewers/listeners up

Are you sure you're not really a Democrat?
Order? I said please and thanked you. You really have no idea what an order looks like do you? Lived a pretty privileged life, huh?
Seriously. I say 'please' and 'thank you' when I go to restaurants, but it's still an order.

Maybe you should try a different mode than 'angry princess'?

It's late cuddle up with your Trump doll and go sleep. I will try to recover from being called princess. I am deeply wounded.

On a motorcycle. Think of Jaws. Happy Days 1970's. Perv... : )
I don't care who you put on the motorcycle, or whose jaws are doing what. You posted it .... 'perv'.
Huh?

Can you please put me on your ignore. so I don't have to deal with your BS? Thanks in advance.
Let's see. You're hyper-sensitive and paranoid, obsessed about Trump but ignore Biden, and like to order people around as if you own them.

Actually that is funny

Yes it is. Unfortunately at the expense of the elderly. The joke is on us since he is clearly incompetent and has been since the beginning of his campaign. We still don't know for certain who the puppet master actually is, the person destroying our economy & causing so much damage in many other ways. Is everyone in this administration as much of a traitor as the "big guy"?

Would the Joe Biden from the Senate even agree with what he is saying today?

More like it would be a boneheaded move to do that... Oh, never mind...

Good question. I don't think even he knows. Also he's so corrupt & opportunistic it doesn't really matter.

Biden is 3 1/2 years old than Trump, the extra 8% of Democrats that think Trump is too old vs. Biden too old, out to not be allowed to vote because they're clearly stooopid.

Well, they are Democrats. We shouldn't expect intelligence, consistency or integrity.
