For many years our season tickets were in front of a great couple from Tyler. For the life of me now decades later I cannot recall his name. He was a big player in insurance in Tyler. I think his wife's name was Ruth. They were huge fans too. He always wore his green felt Stinson hat which I always thought look silly except on him.
Every time I see Tyler I think of them. Ruth and I started the count down in the famous1974 UT game with 2 minutes left on the clock counting down each second. Everyone around us had grown tired of us by that game.
I think the next game was Tech and Ruth and I could hardly talk we were still hoarse from the previous week.
I was wondering if maybe their children hosted Starr?
