58 years old. No Covid. No shot. Have not gotten a flu shot in twenty years. (The last time I had the flu.)Booray said:If that is what you have learned, you are not a very good learner. The vaccines have been incredibly effective. The fact that boosters might be needed make these vaccines no different from almost all other vaccines.RD2WINAGNBEAR86 said:Thank you. In my opinion, the vaccines are marginally effective at best. I think we are learning their effectiveness of those that have received the shot has a very small window. I believe the endgame is to require everyone that has bought all in to get a shot every six months.Booray said:You are right-I thought this was the 50th time you had pointed out the hotline data. Instead you have begun misinterpreting different data-good for you.RD2WINAGNBEAR86 said:I think you misunderstood the link or did not read it. These stats are not listing adverse reactions to the vaccine. It lists the number of people that received the vaccine that were hospitalized or died from Covid.Booray said:RD2WINAGNBEAR86 said:

14,115 people that were vaccinated have died or been hospitalized. Link is from the CDC website.
GO Spinmeisters!!!
Is it spin to point out that number is meaningless; that anyone who knows basic logic understands "correlation is not causation."
For the 50th time. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
The last row of the chart* specifically lists those cases that were asymptiomatic or non-Covid related.
The numbers may be "meaningless" to some such as yourself but to others they are not.
That chart shows that some people with an undetermined level of vaccination have died with COVID; that in some of those cases COVID contributed to their death. Meaning that the vaccines are not 100% effective.
Is that somehow surprising?
No thanks.
I trust my own immune system much more than I trust this President, the CDC, and now the FDA.
I feel like the Americans have been served up a dog poop swirl ice cream cone and have been told it is chocolate. The American people believed it and are now coming back for seconds.
