Housecleaning recruiting notes...
-- It's not a done deal yet, but I expect Seth Jones to be a Bear when he announces on August 2. There is a rumor that he will be back in College Station this weekend for their junior day, but we have it on good authority that he will be in Waco from Friday to Sunday. -- A commitment Connor O'Toole shouldn't be completely expected or ruled out. From those I have talked to, they wouldn't be surprised either way and if he returned home before making his decision it wouldn't be a surprise either. He's visiting TCU while in Texas as well. Baylor is recruiting him strictly as a jumbo WR right now. -- The commitment of Cooper McDonald to Washington wasn't a surprise. Not because he committed to Washington, but because he didn't commit to Baylor. He never showed a ton of interest. Two sources I spoke to said Baylor wanted him, but that they weren't too upset either because of the room on the defensive side of the ball being so tight right now. -- As of right now, the plan is to use Anthony Anyanwu as a linebacker, likely at MIKE. That might not have been the plan originally when they were recruiting him, but his strong 40 time (4.58 at camp) with his size (6-3, 240) made the experiment more likely. If all else fails, he will move back to RUSH. -- Four-star running back Ty Jordan told me that he received an invite to the junior day on Saturday and is in the process of figuring out of he can make the trip. He was high on Baylor earlier in the process but not a ton of momentum lately. If he gets on campus, that's a big deal.-- Mose Jeffery told me that he plans on a decision sometime in November but don't be surprised if Baylor pushes on him a little bit this weekend. Baylor is not thrilled with the high school talent behind some of their early targets and the need for a junior college OG is important for 2020.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
