Again, this is notes in bullet pointAwoke at 5:15Started 5 cups of coffee for the drive2 cups of pecan praline and 3 chickory and coffeeNo rain, so it's a good startGet there a little later than I wanted, it's 8:40, find Grayson and JDJD is there to watch and take in the camp for some upcoming videos he'll doSee quite a few good looking athletes Gerrod Henderson of Spring and Seth Smith stand out as they run well. Smith needs to turn his butt around to the other side of the line and dominate on DLOL/DL leaves McLane for Touchdown AlleyIt's hotThere is a huge trailer cooking crawfish for the official visitorsI try to get some I'm no parent and it's too damn hotJuan Deleon has a thick lower body and can move. He's an ideal guard and has a great mean streakGerrod doesn't disappoint and has his shirt ripped off three reps into 1-1sGerrod and Deleon go at it and Deleon wins the rep, Gerrod gets him on the next roundThere is no quit in either and they dap after each round is overJaydon Chatmon of Harker Heights has a huge wingspan and looks like a RTHe's a 2023 and versatile. One to watch and will be on campus Wednesday for an unofficial2023, 6-8 300, Ethan Thomason, has offers from Tech and CSU and he's got potentialI told Grayson that is Ethan and Colton Thomasson were Bears they'd block out the sunInvite Thomason, Deleon, Gerrod, and more back to the studio Slap Joey McGuire in the stomach as I'm leaving and told him Coach Sapp said he had it coming, just kiddingHead to the studioStart recording the post campXavion Brice, Cayden Fortson, Bruce Mitchell, Wes Tucker, Ethan Thomason, Henderson, and Juan Deleon come over and do interviewsI drive back to Celina and eat as I driveI must be delirious as I go and mow the backyard with our new reel mower, since the front is looking greatIt's still hotNow I'm really sunburnedGo shower, go to bed, got up at 5 this morning and did it all over again with a hat on

Brian's 6/12 Football Camp Recap
Here are some quick thoughts on the camp, the day, etc. I'm a bullet point kind of guy and will just outline it that way.Got up at 5am, miracle, put 5 cups of coffee in the SicEm365 IceShaker and hit the roadRain started just as I opened the garage and it was not prettyDriving down from Celina, saw a lightning strike in the field next to me, everything went whiteThankfully I was at a stop light and proceeded on and then hit all the water in the construction area for the new DNTThen I headed down DNT and weaved in and out of traffic until I got to Kiest on 35 and saw 35 was shut down for construction. Sat in traffic for 5 minutes, Grayson texts he's stuck in a 35 shutdown in JarrellTraffic just opens up as I guess they unblocked at 7amRain has now stopped and 80mph down to Waco has begunArrive at McLane and hurry over to the 40 testing areaSee Nick Morrow test and he looks good and fluidSee DeCarlos Nicholson test and he blazes his 40I go get his number and invite him to the studioGrayson arrives around 9:15I tell Grayson he's fired for a laughGrayson tells me to stick itWe both start commenting on players in front of us performingAustin Novosad is whistling the ball in front of us while he warms up. Noticeable difference in his arm strength and anyone else thereEd Jones comes by and tells everyone the camp is being moved to Allison Indoor and the practice fields300 or so campers are told they're walking to the IndoorParents, get in your cars and drive overGet to the car, get a good parking spot, find the OL/DL inside and go in there to watchSeveral standouts, Colton Thomasson, Nick Morrow, Victor Shaw, Lance Jackson, Jacob Waller, and moreThomasson is the standout in just pure sizeThomasson is moving so much better at 325 than at 403This was my worry on him two seasons ago of being a big kid that is too slowHe's not a finished product by any means, but he's going to see the field by his Soph yearFind his dad and invite them to the studioFind Morrow's parents and invite them to the studioFind the Pleasant Grove coaches and invite the entire team to the studio (7 of them)Morrow is so long and athletic, but he's not 6-8, he's 6-6+Morrow's best football is in front of him, I think he'll be an NFL type looking LT with his length and wingspanHis frame can go to 320 easily as he fills outI see him in the vein of Elijah Ellis in rawness but you know it when you see itLance Jackson doesn't look like a soon to be 9th grader, just not right to be that athletic at that ageHe goes at OL and DLHe's a take at eitherVictor Shaw goes at OL and DL and he's a take at either, IMOShaw is long and athletic and could be a guard or DT in Baylor's schemesWaller has some talent, but a little slower footed compared to the others, but his technique wasn't bad and he won more than he lostDK Kalu is a big butted athleteHe explodes off the ball and will be a NT or DT at 320+ by the time he's in collegeHe's fluid and flexibleTry to get him to the studio, but he can't make itAaron Mueller of CC Flour Bluff was there and he has to get his ass down to anchorMueller is flat backed and reaches versus sinking those hips and exploding upGalvin worked with him over and over and he just kept going back to bad reaching When he got down, he wonDuring the drills, Mateos said, "Do you know where you are?" He starts pointing at the banners on the walls... Kids are looking at him He loudly says, "You're at Baylor and we don't do it slow. Pick up the pace and go!"Campers are told to go back to the stadiumI say, time for me to go to the studio and Grayson agreesWe arrive, Paul is setting upWe film until 3:30Upload film until 5pmI drive back to Celina and crashBen Inez, I think that was his name, was a massive 2024 OLRaw, raw, raw, raw, but huge and will grow into that frame

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
