That decision will leave Baylor with one quarterback offer out to an uncommitted and realistic prospect in the 2024 class, four-star QB Walker White. Both White and Owens have been the top priority for the Baylor staff since the Fall.Other OffersMarcos Davila (TCU), Derek (DJ) Lagway (Florida), Mabrey Mettauer (Wisconsin), Dylan Raiola (uncommitted but not realistic, likely heading to Georgia or Nebraska)White seemed like the top priority once he was offered and now it is pretty clear that he will be for the time being. Look for the staff to continue evaluating more signal callers in 2024 while also pursuing White heavily. This is a big opportunity for the staff has they now have created a ton of separation age wise in the QB room. Robertson was a 2021 prospect and Shapen was a 2020 prospect so there will be multiple classes between the 2024 signee and the rest of the quarterbacks on the roster. Perfect time to use this as a massive advantage.
