Note on Potential Official Visitor (2024 class)
Campbellsville (KY) Taylor County High School 2024 offensive lineman Hayes Johnson let me know that he is planning to take an official visit to Baylor in the winter or spring when Baylor schedules the dates. Unfortunately he will not be able to come for a game this season just due to the travel and his season going on but the bigger news is his plans to take an official visit.Eric Mateos has remained in constant contact with the three-star offensive line prospect and their relationship is a big reason for his interest in the Baylor program. Johnson has been targeted and prioritized by the staff very early for an out of state prospect. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Michigan State, Tennessee, and Cincinnati.Kentucky is thought to be the early favorite but the fact that he is already considering a Baylor official visit means the door is open for the Bears to land another big out of state prospect.Remember Baylor had one of the highest rates of official visits turning into commitments in the entire country for the 2023 class.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12000976/633ef94fd45ed50b04d13ac8
