Big Camp Note
I heard from a source that the July 29th camp is going to be a big one with lots of Baylor commits, recruits with heavy interest in Baylor, and top prospects. We already reported that Imhotep HS (PA.) WR Yusuf Terry and S Tykee Smith will be at the camp but there are three more huge 2019 prospects that I found out about.Baylor commit QB Jacob Zeno (John Jay HS), Amarillo Tascosa RB King Doerue , and Midlothian Heritage WR Langston Anderson will also be there. The three of them have a close bond and have remained in contact during this whole recruiting process. It is big to have all three on campus at the same time especially if they want to play at the next level together.I remain confident in my high prediction that Baylor will land Doerue and Anderson. Doerue has taken longer than I expected for him to pull the trigger but Baylor still has the lead in his recruitment. The question for Anderson is will this visit move up his commitment timeline? We will see but this gives Baylor the best shot at landing him early.Confirmed that the Odessa Permian trio will be there as well. Baylor commits DE Matt Jones and OL Landon Peterson along with a top prospect Peyton Powell .This camp could come very close to wrapping up the 2019 class before the season even begins.

Small scoop...
- Baylor taking a commitment from Yusuf Terry doesn't automatically mean anything in regards to Baylor also taking Langston Anderson or Genson Hooper. Simply stated, don't worry about about the numbers right now. - Baylor is waiting an official release from former four-star Auburn DE signee Kayode Oladele and then will move forward. This is a very realistic development as far as interest from both parties, but how Baylor makes it work in numbers is a different story. - Still no updates on actual visit dates from either Genson Hooper or the Philly prospects Yusuf Terry and Tykee Smith. I feel confident in Baylor landing Terry and a commitment from Smith wouldn't be completely off-the-radar, but that might depend on how Baylor feels about Tyler Owens if and when that time comes. - Baylor is making a priority out of Oklahoma DE Trace Ford. I know I mentioned the baseball thing previously, but that's only a part of the gauge of how how much the staff wants him. Baylor should get an official visit. - Whatever we thought we knew about numbers for the class, I'm not sure about right now. So many variables and moving pieces happening right now that I'm not fully confident in saying where things sit. Best on board might be the way this goes.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
