Quick note on possible visitor (9 am update)
We've been told that 2018 Navarro OL David Swaby (6-9, 330) will be on Baylor's campus this week. Trying to get final confirmation but wanted to get it here while we are running it down. He was at Oklahoma over the weekend.
JUCO OL David Swaby update
David Swaby (Navarro)The 6-foot-9, 330-pound tackle from Navarro isn't going to Tennessee for his scheduled official visit this weekend. He's still in contact with Oklahoma and has his official visit to Ole Miss set for June 1-3. Baylor is still looking to get an unofficial visit from the Cali native, but I wouldn't be surprised if this puts them in line for an official as well. If you missed it originally, Swaby has 4 years to play 3 seasons and will finish up at Navarro in time to enroll at his school of choice for session two. He also holds offers from Ole Miss, Houston, SMU and Southern Miss and has serious communication with the Sooners about taking an official visit. A decision on if he would redshirt or play in 2018 would not be made until the fall.
