Bears land a commitment from Putnam City West (OK) 2022 safety Corey Gordon
Baylor landed a commitment from Oklahoma City (OK) Putnam City West High School safety Corey Gordon on Sunday afternoon. Gordon is the second safety commit in Baylor’s 2022 recruiting class joining recent pledge Devyn Bobby of DeSoto.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound prospect was offered by Baylor on February 19th and was a priority target ever since that point.
“I’ve had a lot of family that went to Baylor so I grew up watching them,” he said. “Then RG3 made me fall in love with the football program and it’s just a all around great university.”
He chose Baylor over offers from Hawaii, Tulsa, South Dakota State, Abilene Christian, New Mexico and Dartmouth among others.
Gordon, a three-sport athlete, is also known for showing off his tremendous athletic ability on the basketball court. Check out the video below.
