Baylor lands 2023 OL Justin DeLeon of H.M. King High School

On Saturday afternoon, Baylor offered and ultimately picked up a verbal commitment from 2023 offensive lineman Justin Deleon‍ (6-3, 290) of H.M. King High School in Kingsville, Texas. Deleon confirmed his commitment to the Bears to SicEm365.

Deleon camped with Baylor on June 19 and made a massive impression on the entire staff including offensive line coach Eric Mateos. 

“I had no idea they’d be offering so soon,” DeLeon said. "Being from a small town, never thought it would happen this fast and this early. Grateful for it."

Deleone becomes Baylor’s second commitment of the 2023 recruiting class joining four-star linebacker Isaiah Crawford‍ of Post (TX) High School. Crawford committed to Baylor on June 23.
