Not impressed. Trouble holding on to the ball and don't see the QB stretching the field.

Quote of the week...
Dave Aranda: “We've been awfully focused on the process of just really forming an identity and really focusing on simple things that we can control and we can really own and take really strong ownership of. And I think when you ask that question, I think it's a great one, what comes to mind is penalties, or lack thereof, or ball security, or managing the clock, or winning the line of scrimmage. And so those are things from the very beginning we've really focused and honed in on, and I'm excited about the opportunity to go out and do those things. And I feel really confident that offensively and defensively there's a real strong belief that our effort, our execution, our edge can fill in the blanks in terms of the expectations and so I think the focus on what we can can control, good things are gonna come.”
Craig Smoak’s Players to Watch
Texas State — Quarterback Brady McBride
McBride doesn't blow you away with his ability, but he is seasoned in Spavital's offense at this point and ended last year on a solid three-game run statistically. Outside of the RB group and a player I will mention later, the rest of the Bobcats offense is a walking transfer portal.
I don't worry about Baylor's defense in the slightest, but you don't want an experienced QB to get a hot hand and some confidence in front of the home crowd. If Baylor's offense struggles to score points like it did last season, it only takes a couple of throws, busted coverages, or turnovers to make things a little too uncomfortable.
Baylor — Quarterback Gerry Bohanon
Bohanon put the work in to earn the job and displayed the confidence of a starting QB when talking to the media on Tuesday. Standing only feet away, you could sense his excitement level for this weekend. It's his time now.
