Ten Things: Baylor takes down Kansas on the road

Baylor travelled to Lawrence, Kansas for the first conference game of 2021. The ten things which stood out during the game are below.

1. Great opening drive culminating in Ben Sims‍ first touchdown of 2021
2. Have to protect the ball early on the road and the turnover might give Kansas some life
3. Great first catch by Drew Estrada‍ 
4. FULLBACK DIVE by Gavin Yates
5. Need to refocus in the second half after the lapse by the defense which led to a Kansas touchdown
6. Matt Jones‍ just tombstoned Bean!
7. RJ Sneed‍ breaks a tackle and Tyquan Thornton‍ leads him down the sideline with two great blocks for a long touchdown after Drew Estrada‍ springs him initially
8. Abram Smith‍ could go for 200 yards if the staff feeds him this game
9. Gerry Bohanon‍ has had two throws he’d like back, but an otherwise excellent effort
10. Taye McWilliams‍ is going to be good next season in this offense
11. Great to see Hankins kick a 47 yarder in a game for confidence
12. Ryan Leaf has Baylor in his top 25
