I too lament the opportunity lost. And Bohannon's last interception caused me to drink several more Guiness and a Dalmore Scotch.
However, if we were offered that BU would be 7-2 heading into the OU game on August 15th, but you would have one painful loss (I do not count losing to #10 OSU in Stillwater painful) to get there, would you take it? I am betting, based on the pre-season analysis, 100% of us would say "YES"!
BU is still in line for a nice Bowl Game, a top 20-25 ranking and momentum going into recruiting. In a much better position than any of us thought.
