- The Bears were being outrebounded 18-13 in first half but ended up +9 in rebounds (42-33)
- Kendall Brown 14 points in second half, he was terrific
- Adam Flagler had some big time buckets when the game was on the line
- Matthew Mayer started great and finished great (15 points; 6 rebounds; 2 steals)
- 75% on free throws; made 11 more free throws than VCU
- Held VCU under 0.9 points per possession (0.87)
- Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua was terrific; 13 points (6-8 FG; 1-1 3pt) plus 8 rebounds
Needs Work
- Not the best game for James Akinjo (7 turnovers and 2 assists)
- LJ Cryer had a rough game as well (1-6 FG; 4 turnovers and 2 assists)
- 33% from 3; will need to shoot better against another great defensive team in Michigan State
- Sochan has not made a FG at the Bahamas. Needs to see some shots go in
