Proving the doubters wrong, Jaxon Player is back home in Waco at Baylor

Four years ago, Midway senior defensive standout Jaxon Player was begging for specific colleges to take notice and see his potential. Hometown Baylor included. 

After dominating at the 6A level for a successful Panthers program, college coaches saw the talent and power. And they saw the way he time and again held his own with a litany of future DI players. But his height, listed at 6'0, became too big a hurdle to garner offers from Power 5 schools.
