Baylor lands Lake Belton safety Javeon Wilcox
Lake Belton (TX) High School safety Javeon Wilcox (6-1, 195) gave his commitment to Baylor following an unofficial visit to Waco over the weekend. Wilcox becomes the seventh commit in the class and third safety joining Cory Huff Jr. and Tyler Turner.

“I love the relationships I have with the coaches and the relationships that I am building with them," Wilcox said following his visit. “The thing that stood out the most was how they take education serious and how important life after football is more than just winning games and championships.”
Wilcox finished his junior season with 96 tackles and a forced fumble on defense while also adding three touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.
Wilcox will return to campus this Sunday for Baylor’s “Weekend of Champions” Junior Day.
