Following a big win against Iowa State in 2019, Baylor found out Tristan Clark would miss the rest of the season. Clark had been by far Baylor’s best player to star the campaign. With brutal home losses to Texas Southern and Stephen F. Austin, and with Clark’s absence, it seemed like a fine time to dream of the future.  

Scott Drew didn’t see things that way.
