Positives
- Get plenty of rest after losing in the first round of the Big12 Tournament
- 11 assists and 6 turnovers is a good ratio
- 12 steals, 6 from Dale Bonner
- 14-16 from the foul line, really good outside of the two that were missed were front end of one and ones
- Flo Thamba continues his steallar play- 10 points; 7 rebounds and 2 blocks
- Dale Bonner had a great game- 9 points; 6 steals. Good to see him make a 3 pointer after missing 16 in a row before that.
Needs Work
- Got out-toughed on the glass by an OU team that is not the toughest team in the land. OU ends up outrebounding the Bears 35-34.
- Lost too many OU shooters leading to open looks from 3 (11-21). The Bears meanwhile go a poor 3-22 from 3.
- Adam Flagler- 37 minutes; 2 points; 40 offensive rating. Rest up Adam, we need heroic performances the rest of the way.
- I thought Kendall Brown took a step back tonight. He did some good things, driving floaters, 3 pointer, but only 2 rebounds. Baylor needs him to play at a much higher level to survive and advance the rest of the way.
- Baylor’s performances in the Big12 Tournament. 3-7 the last 7 years. Yeesh... that’s a lot of expense for fans to travel to KC for a low payoff. It's getting stale. It is in KC until 2026 but I'll be watching from home going forward. The tourney needs to be rotated to Dallas.
