PITCHED A SHUTOUT
• Baylor set a program record, a Big 12 Championship record and tied an NCAA record when it held Oklahoma State scoreless in the first quarter on Friday.
• Overall, BU held OSU to 36 points, a Big 12 Championship record and won by 40 points, which stands for second in league tournament win margin.
• OSU's 13 field goals were the second-fewest made in the league tournament, and BU held the Cowgirls to 14 points in the first half, a mark that ties for fifth in the Big 12 Championship record book.
• With the win, Baylor moved to 47-13 all-time at the Big 12 Championship and 17-5 in the quarterfinal round.

TWELVE IN A ROW
• Baylor clinched a share of the regular-season Big 12 title with a 25-point win on the road at No. 8 Iowa State in front of a record crowd at Hilton Coliseum.
• BU's streak of 12 regular-season titles in a row is the longest active streak in the country in men's AND women's hoops.
• The streak ties for fourth all-time in WBB behind Green Bay 20 (1999-2018), Louisiana Tech 15 (2003-17), Stanford 14 (2001-14) and Old Dominion 12 (1993-2004).
• With 24 combined conference championships, Baylor ties Stanford for the most among Power 5 schools since 2004-05.
• With a win over Texas Tech on Sunday or an Iowa State loss on Saturday, Baylor would clinch the championship outright.
• Baylor became the first school since Texas Tech in 2000 to start league play 0-2 and end up winning the conference title.

WALKING DOUBLE-DOUBLE
• NaLyssa Smith is fifth in the country with 22 double-doubles on the season. That mark puts her at second all-time in Baylor history.
• Smith is third in program history with 50 career double-doubles.
• The senior is averaging 22.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game which both rank No. 8 in the country. She is the only player in the country who is averaging 22+ points and 11+ rebounds per game.

LET IT FLY
• Baylor's program record for triples made came on Dec. 18, 2019 against Arkansas State when Juicy Landrum caught fire and set an NCAA record with 14 triples. Besides that record-setting performance, BU hadn't drained more than a dozen shots from deep since 2011.
• BU's record for 3-point attempts in a season came in 2013-14 when the Bears attempted 596 3s.
• From that season to 2020-21, Baylor made 10 or more 3-pointers in a game only five times across a total of 281 games (1.78 percent). BU has done so five times this season.
• At Kansas, Baylor nearly set a record with a 14-for-29 display from the perimeter. BU's 14 treys marked the second most in program history.
• Prior to this year, only 14 Bears had made six or more 3s in a game. Two of them had done it multiple times (Makenzie Robertson, 2012, 2014) and Jennifer King (1990, 1991, 1993).
• Sarah Andrews and Ja'Mee Asberry have already joined that elite club this season. Andrews went 6-for-8 against Morehead State and from deep and Asberry fired off 6-of-8 against Alcorn State. Asberry then went 6-for-11 at Kansas, and Andrews set a career-high with a 7-for-10 mark.
• Andrews' seven 3s tied for third in program history. She is now one of six Bears in program history to hit a minimum of seven triples in a game.
• Jordan Lewis joined the club with her 6-of-7 performance against Iowa State.
• Baylor - with 209 3s on the season - has the second-highest 3pointer total for a single season in program history.
• Asberry is fourth in program history with 71 3s made this season.

She is excellent at faking a foul too. Announcers even admitted it.

If Cullen can recruit like she coaches, we will have a solid team next year especially some great players returning.

I think Collen is wondering got a Top 10 recruiting class in 3-4 months of recruiting. i've been saying if we win tomorrow plus we have the regular season title, we make a deep run in the post season, and Lyss gets drafted number 1 who wouldn't want to be playing here especially since we have minutes to give. But if we win it all man oh man that would be crazy. And the crazy thing is we have a chance. We are beating top 20 opponents convincingly. Abs As a post you can see how she will give you different opportunities to score. Guards will gain one of the highest IQ's by coming here because she makes you think but it makes you better. LETS GOOOO I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

And she knows what it takes to win in the pros.

CNC best recruiting tool is putting on the tape of any of our last 12 games. Who would not want to play this style of basketball. Everyone is involved, everyone gets shots, up tempo style with plenty of motion and solid defense. We are no longer standing around pounding it into the post, yet look at how N'lyssa and Queen (and even Bickle) have flourished. Oh, and did I mention we actually embrace the 3 ball?

yeah we will be getting some good names out of the portal and then we have to understand we have Chloe as a coach i wouldn't doubt her being one of the youngest assistants in the country, she will help these kids with NIL that is her realm and she bring so much to the table from a recruiting side of things and then she also knows the game of basketball.

Hmmm, did you not watch the game yesterday? Did you not listen to CNC in her presser talk about how boring it was because they pounded it inside all game long? did you not watch Bickle Smith and Queen torture OU inside? Hogh low, horns action over and over again pounded OU into submission...it was a very Kim like game and strategy yesterday.

But when you look at THE PAST 12 GAMES you see how many different ways she can find for players to score. We get 3's for Ja'mee, Queen is getting nice looks at the rim and face up jumpers, Lyss the same and jumpers, Bickle gets to drive. But we kept doing horns cause it was working she took advantage of a size advantage in the post. In other teams post season tournament they didn't do that they just blamed we didn't have our guard so we lost.

Respectfully disagree with that statement. We had 6 different players shoot from beyond the arc yesterday and took 18 shots from there. While that was subdued or muted by CNC in order to work the paint, Kim would have never allowed 18 3-pointers to be taken in the entire tournament.

I don't think it was a Kim approach at all because we still slipped to open space, we still shot the ball. Queen had jumpers. We attack a zone so we'll now it doesn't scare us

It was a Kim approach - with double whip, extra mocha, and 5 cherries on top!

Kim allowed Juicy Landrum to shoot 14 3s in one game. Granted it was not in a tournament & against Central Arkansas. Kim Mulkey allowed players to shoot 3s, especially when they are on fire.
