Postgame Takeaways: #1 Baylor 85, #16 Norfolk State 49

Positives

• Great to have Michael Flagler (Adam’s dad) as the guest on the post game podcast.  
• Unselfish basketball, 24 assists to 10 turnovers.  Akinjo, Flagler and Bonner combined for 18 assists and 3 turnovers.  Is that good?
• Baylor didn’t miss many shots but when they did, they got offensive rebounds.  The Bears grabbed nearly 50% of their misses.  
• Great to see over 40% from 3 point range, particularly Mayer at 4-7.  
• Thamba continues to get better and better every game.  Sochan also played well in the paint and knocked down a couple 3s.  
• Loved the defensive intensity most of the game.  Plenty of shot clock violations.  

Needs Work

• Some nervous moments when Flagler picked up two early fouls before the first media time out.  Flo also had 2 early fouls.  
• Could have been better from the foul line.  Only 12-21.  I blame the new ball. 
• Kendall Brown seemed a bit under the weather, hopefully he is ok.  We need him.
