The Jayhawks were able to land Purdue transfer safety Marvin Grant last week. At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Grant possesses the versatility to move all around the defense. Kansas is coming off a big recruiting weekend where they welcomed some key targets from Florida.

Two 2023 prospects from the Sunshine State that were in Lawrence this past weekend were three-star TE/DE DJ Jones and three-star DL Marcus Calvin.
