How to View "Sourced" Realignment News

With realignment comes a host of Twitter accounts and unknown writers claiming they have intel about a team leaving a conference. 

So how can we figure out if some random guy with a few thousand followers on Twitter really is breaking a story or not? 

Always start with two questions: If this is true, who might the source be? And why would the source provide the story to this person? 

The biggest realignment stories lately have come from columnists in the leagues expanding.
