56 Days till Kickoff: Baylor’s #56 Braden Strauss

Braden Strauss is a sophomore linebacker from Waco Midway. Strauss has two years of eligibility remaining past this season, and Baylor’s website has him listed at 5-foot-11, 220 pounds. While at BU, he is majoring in health, kinesiology, and leisure studies. 

Strauss played in high school at Waco Midway and had 50 tackles, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 2 TFLs as a senior in 2019. He helped his team to an 11-2 record and a district championship in 2019. Strauss chose to attend Baylor, and although he was not on the roster in 2020, he walked on to the football team in 2021. His dad, Jon Strauss, was the former pitching coach at Baylor under Steve Rodriguez.
