Baylor Soccer Falls to Texas Tech, 2-0
LUBBOCK, Texas – Baylor soccer fell against Texas Tech, 2-0, Thursday night at the John Walker Soccer Complex.
The Bears, who are now 4-9-2 on the season and 2-5-0 in conference play, held the Red Raiders scoreless until the 78th minute.
THE RUNDOWN
The Bears and Red Raiders didn’t have a lot of offense going on in the first half, with Maddie Algya recording the second shot of the game in the 36th minute.
Coming out of the first half tied 0-0, the Bears’ defense held it down, not allowing the Red Raiders a goal until the 78th minute.
Elizabeth Kooiman recorded the Bears’ only shot on goal in the 47th minute, while Olivia Mack got a good look in the 76th minute, the Bears’ only two shots of the second half.
Texas Tech netted goals in the 78th and 90th minutes to defeat the Bears.
