Youthful Bears set to host Southwest Baptist in exhibition

Year two of the Nicki Collen era will get underway tonight, as No. 17 Baylor welcomes Southwest Baptist to the Ferrell Center for an exhibition game. The Bears are looking to build off last season’s 28-7 record and redeem themselves from the disappointing second-round loss to South Dakota in March Madness that ended their season.

While the expectations in Waco are high, it could take some time for a roster constructed of multiple transfers and very few upperclassmen to find their rhythm.
