Pretty good start! Great to have Bickle back.

Doesn't seem like Asberry has shown up yet.
I've been watching these teams for over 20 years. I don't believe we have ever had a team that could shoot free throws decently. We have lost many games because of it.....while watching the opponents drain free throw after free throw. Men aren't any better, especially if our bigs are the ones fouled.Bone Squad said:
Inexplicable poor free throw shooting every year. Regardless who the players are, regardless who the coach is.
We did a lot poorly today, but still could have won just shooting decently from the free throw line.

I second that. She digressed after coming to Baylor.
In her post game interview CNC said that Maryland plays 5 guards, not good for our bigs, but they will be important in upcoming games.Woodsa7512 said:
Is Kendra and Erica Hurt. With Jamee not playing well they should have atleast gotten and opportunity. Do we anticipate having Dre any this year.

I think the offensive sets were okay, given our personnel on the court, but players have to make shots when the offense gets them open. Buggs missed easy shots again under the basket in the first half, but settled down and hit a few in second half, including some short jumpers. Jaymee needs to just take a deep breath and settle in. She's rushing to get her sot off, and consequently, not really seeing her target. Sarah is streaky and when she gets hot, look out! Just need her to heat up faster. Jana played better. Penetrated and kicked or took to rim. Got foul calls a couple of times, I think, but also committed some turnovers, when refs didn't give her the calls. Really, shot making is getting in gym and lots of repetitions. Got some time now at Thanksgiving and after finals. I think we can all see the game was there for the taking. The team and coaching staff will see that, too, and use it to coach the team up. But let's be honest, when Blackwell became unavailable, didn't most of us think we might struggle to put points on the board, especially against taller teams? We held our own and put ourselves in a position to win. Now need to sharpen execution and get in gym and shoot. We have time to work on it before conference.

Eight new players, 3 freshman and our go to player out. This team needs time to readjust and our talented new comers just need time. Let's support them while time takes its course!Baylorkid said:Mothballs said:

Yeah! We're not used to losing
