If you're of a mind to plead Dre's cause, above is the email for Coach Elzy. Evidently, another player who transferred from there at the same time as Dre' - also with transfer #2 - had her waiver signed and is playing. I might suggest that Elzy's behavior toward Dre' Edwards could be seen as a warning to other players who might consider leaving her program, as well as giving insight on why FOUR players chose to leave after last season. Perhaps a flood of letters and e-mails will cause Elzy to rethink her actions……or perhaps they'll just be tossed and deleted.
No matter. After Elzy's vindictive pettiness, followed by Dre's class-act interview, a hero emerges.
