“I had a lot of things going on personally, mentally, that kind of took away my focus from basketball at times. But I think it made me grow into who I am now. I’ve learned from everything I’ve done in the past, and I’ve only grown.”

The Women's Basketball forward who transferred from Kentucky met with the media on Thursday. Coach Nicki Collen, Sarah Andrews and Erika Porter also took questions to preview the Bears' matchup at Kansas Saturday.

“We have to be tougher. We’ve lost two games where we’ve given up too many offensive rebounds down the stretch when you look at Maryland and Michigan,” said Collen. “Some of those were dead-ball rebounds where we couldn’t squeeze it.”

When Baylor takes the court on November 3rd in an exhibition with Southwest Baptist, there will be a lot of unfamiliar faces donning the green and gold, but the championship pedigree will remain the same.
