It's a great feeling when coaches you've been on staff with or were your assistants have monumental victories. I think about Drew's title run when Oral Roberts and North Texas had deep runs. Also, Bryce Drew showing up to games and vice versa … the family ties.

I bet that is one special call tonight.

Which other game do you expect us to lose besides at Kansas? Do you not think we can beat them at home?
I wish I could say "none", but the Big 12 is ridiculously tough. TCU, Kansas State, Texas....others....they are ALL good. 13-5 or 12-6 would be amazing.

I just want us to stay healthy, and get better. Drew has his eight man rotation down now, absent injuries.

My hope is that we make it to March Madness as a "quiet" #3 seed....and take it from there.

Agreed. All of the above.

Good solid road win at a tough place to get one - regardless of what TTech's record is.

I love the confidence in this response to the 13-5 post

WINS

Cellar Dwellar - Texas Tech (0-6)
9th Place - WVU (0-5)
8th Place - Oklahoma State (1-4)

Great job against the bottom of the conference. I wouldn't bow the chest out too far until some of those wins are actually against the top half of the league.

To be fair, with 4 more points we're 5-1.

Gotta win but winning in the road is always a bonus in the 12

Nice job Bears. Always hard to win on the road.

On the broadcast they said something like in 12 of the last 13 B12 games the home team had won. Road wins are huge.

Thanks.

It may be a pipe dream but we have done real momentum going forward & the team is playing better than they were at the beginning of conference play. There still is much to improve (defense, rebounding, etc) but we are on the proper trajectory, or do it seems. If we get the W in Norman, I will feel much more confident about the matchup an Monday. (& I'll be wishing I had a ticket!)

True but there is much parity in the Big 12. It's not like getting wins in the SEC, Pac 12, or Big 10 basement.

There really is no cellar-dweller or bottom of this conference. Top to bottom everyone is a top 25 caliber team. Tech is winless in conference play but still has a BPI of 40. The conference race will be a war of attrition with teams beating each other up and any team capable of winning any given matchup on their home floor.

For some added perspective, the aggys have won 6 in a row and are 4-0 in SEC games with a 12-5 overall record - and aren't even in the Tournament field per Lunardi. They're currently projected to be in the "first four out" as is WVU with their present 0-5 B12 record.
