Nuni Omot showed some flashes of being able to become one of Baylor's key players for the upcoming 2017-18 season as a junior last year. Omot missed the first 8 games due to some transfer credit issues. This is always a big setback for a player that is trying to work into a rotation. Baylor went undefeated during those 8 games and Omot became a role player for last year's team.
