IRVING, Texas – With four new additions to the league in 2023-24, the Big 12 Conference announced the home-and-away opponents for each league member on Thursday.

Baylor will play home and road games against BYU, Kansas, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech. It will host Houston, Iowa State, Cincinnati and Oklahoma while playing road games at Kansas State, Oklahoma State, UCF and West Virginia.

The full schedule will be released at a later date, but 2023-24 will be the first season since 2011-12 in which the Big 12 has not played a full double-round robin.

Baylor’s meeting with BYU will be the first since an NIT semifinal matchup at Madison Square Garden in April of 2013. The Cougars will make their first trip to Waco since 2012, with the Bears making their first trip to Provo since 2011.

Baylor and Texas Tech will continue a tradition of playing a home-and-home series every year since Tech joined the Southwest Conference in 1958. BU and Texas will play a home-and-home for the final time in the foreseeable future, marking the 67th time in the last 68 seasons that the Bears and Longhorn will trade home games.

BU and TCU will continue a home-and-home series that reappeared when the Frogs joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. Prior to the breakup of the Southwest Conference, the two programs met home-and-home every year between 1924-1996.

Kansas and Baylor will play on each other’s home court for a 13th-straight year, splitting the season series in five of the last six seasons.

While Oklahoma's first trip to Foster Pavilion will be its final one as a conference foe, Cincinnati will make its first-ever trip to Waco in 2024. Houston will play its first game in Waco since January of 1996, while Iowa State is set to make a 13th-straight visit to Central Texas.

Baylor’s first-ever meeting with UCF will come at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, while a 28th-straight trip to Stillwater to battle Oklahoma State awaits them in 2024. BU will aim for a fourth-straight win in Morgantown and set its sights on a fourth win in its last five trips to Manhattan.

So between MBB and WBB, we play each school at least once on the road and once at home.

We get all 4 games against UT and KU (both sports). Only one game in each sport against Cincy, KSt, IowaSt and OU.

Tang doesn't come back to Waco. McCasland does.

Men: no trip to Hofheinz (or Fertitta, or Landry's, or Chart House, or whatever UH is calling their arena now)

Women: no trip to Ft Worth or Lubbock. We still get a game in the Metroplex @SMU.

I like our schedule but I wish they would have used the 20 game conf model for one year like the big 10 plays. 20 conf games would have been great.
Changing the culture one road tailgate at a time.
Its ok to attend away games! No really its fun!
Meet me on ROW 1!
