Baylor Announces Gold Out, Additional Home Game Themes for 2023

As the Bears look to bounce back from its 6-7 2022 season, a total of eight home games at McLane stadium for the 2023 season with just four road games is a great launching point. 

To help with a home field advantage, Baylor Athletics announced a list of home game themes and promotions, including a Gold Out game against Texas Tech on Oct. 7, for the 2023 football season on Thursday via it’s social media accounts. 

Sept. 2 vs. Texas State – Kickoff for the Community
Sept. 9 vs. Utah – Hurd Welcome Center Grand Opening
Sept. 16 vs. Long Island – Family Weekend
Sept. 23 vs. Texas – This Is Bear Country
Oct. 7 vs. Texas Tech –   Go Gold Weekend  
Oct. 28 vs. Iowa State – Homecoming
Nov. 4. vs Houston – Salute to Service
Nov. 25 vs. West Virginia – Senior Day

Baylor’s season opener is set to kickoff at 6 p.m. CT against Texas State on Sept. 2.
